Pros and Cons of The Kiwi Design Upgraded Facial Interface

ProsCons
Light Blocker around the nose (new to this version)Price
Multiple in one pack
Breathable material/design
Machine washable
Special glasses spaces (new to this version)
Bonus lens protector valued at $10

This product has a lot of pros.

  • First off, it is more comfortable and padded than the stock interface that comes with the Quest 2.
  • I like the light blocker around the nose area. It makes for a more immersive experience.
  • Nice to see that it came with more than just one in the pack. I am curious as to why there are two leather ones and not two sports fabric ones though.
  • The whole design allows for more airflow through the interface and the material itself is more breathable. This makes playing higher-intensity games much more enjoyable.
  • Making the sports fabric attachment machine washable is actually a very nice touch. These pieces can get very dirty just sitting on our faces so being able to wash them is great.
  • Knowing that they added a glasses spacer to this version because of user feedback just means that they listen to their customers and want to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The bonus lens protector is a nice touch and is valued at $10

The only real con I think is the price.

  • Is this accessory worth $50 USD? I think if you do a lot of intense games or fitness games and want something for that, then this is a great find. If you are just purchasing it because you want to try a different interface, maybe try a cheaper option. Just my thoughts but it is a good quality product.
