Once all of the commissions that I’m working on

Once all of the commissions that I’m working on are finished, I’ll be able to paint this new design I had my new laser burn for me last night.
It is of Cinque Terre in Italy.
It’s actually a pretty cool process. I draw the designs digitally on my computer, then transfer the file of the drawing to the laser program, and it burns it into the wood for me. This saves me the time of burning it and then I don’t smell like smoke after too!

"Companions"

This original painting took me over a year to finish. I definitely wasn't working on it every week, but sometimes I just feel like setting a piece aside while working on other projects. Well, I finally got back to this one and finished it up.
This isn't the biggest painting I've done on canvas but pretty close. I love working with so much space.
Bears have been one of my favourite subjects to paint as well. This is the second one I have done with non-traditional colours and it is a lot of fun. I've been trying to loosen up my style a little with animals and I'm getting there. Still some work ahead but that's what creating is all about!

This is the VR version of my original acrylic painting "Sunrise On Lake Bled"
You can find the step-by-step tutorial on my website and YouTube Channel!
It has been really fun to create a painting in real life and then try to mimic it in VR using the Vermillion App. I have learned things along the way that have made me appreciate both creating in real life and creating in VR.
Here are a few things I've learned:
1. I'm faster in VR. And this just makes sense. There is no clean-up, colours on demand, an undo button, and more.
2. Purples and oranges don't mix well on Vermillion. I kept getting a nasty gray colour in between them as you can see. I was much happier with the sky that I did in the acrylic painting.
3. Painting in both real life and in VR makes me happy!
