Waterton Lakes Acrylic Painting

This painting of Upper Waterton Lake in Waterton Lakes National Park depicts the famous viewpoint behind the Prince of Wales Hotel. It is iconic as you can see for its beautiful view of the lake and townsite below. It is usually windy up on this ridge but you can find lucky times where it isn’t!

The original of this painting is sold as it was a commission. However, prints are available and originals can be repainted. If another one was to be painted, it would obviously differ slightly from the photos you see above as it is a recreation.

Recreation processing time is 2-4 weeks to ship.

They have greater color matching, better contrast, use archival grade ink and media, and greater resolution. Apart from the texture paint provides on the top of a canvas, giclée prints are pretty well indistinguishable from original paintings.

Both Textured and Smooth Fine Art Paper can have a 1-2-inch white border or no border at. If you would like a border on your print, send a comment when you purchase your order. If no note is given, the default will be no border.

*In the drop-down menu, you will only see “Fine Art Paper” as the option for the paper when you check out there is an “Additional Notes” section in which you can write whether you would like a smooth or textured finish to the paper. If no note is given a smooth finish will be the default.

 

FRAMING TIPS:

Fine Art Paper and Rolled Canvas Prints are good for regular frames.

Stretched Canvas Prints are good to be hung by themselves, in float frames, or in a regular frame for a more modern style.

 

PROCESSING TIME:

-Please allow for 1-2 weeks of time to create the print and then ship it or have it ready for pick-up
