Prairie Storm Step By Step Painting Tutorial – Vermillion Virtual Reality

Welcome to my virtual studio in Vermillion and this Prairie Storm Step-by-Step Painting Tutorial!

We had a major storm hit last week and it knocked the power out for 34 hours. Now that may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things, however, when you are needing to keep food cold in the fridge and freezer, it becomes a problem! Anyhow, I thought I would take inspiration from the storm and create a painting from it!

In this tutorial, I hope to teach you about painting storm clouds, and canola fields, and how to create depth with certain objects in a painting. Many of the techniques can be carried over to traditional painting as well. I will also show you how to use the ruler and a few other things on Vermillion.
